About the directory

What does the dump actually charge?

LandfillPrices makes published landfill and transfer-station disposal rates easier to find, understand, and compare.

Disposal fees are published across official county, municipal, and facility schedules. LandfillPrices brings those published charges into one searchable directory, retaining the original source and the date each record was checked.

Our purpose

Make published disposal fees easier to compare.

Finding a disposal facility's actual pricing can require locating its official rate sheet, identifying the correct material category, and understanding whether charges are calculated by weight, vehicle, load, or minimum fee.

LandfillPrices organizes that information so people can examine published rates without having to navigate every facility's website individually.

The directory focuses on the information facilities actually publish. It does not attempt to replace their official schedules or provide guaranteed disposal quotes.

What we aim to provide

  • Published fee schedules Charges collected from official facility, county, and municipal sources.
  • Source transparency A named source and direct source link for published facility records.
  • Checked dates The date associated with the verification of each published record.
  • Comparable information Per-ton rates, minimum charges, vehicle fees, and material-specific charges where published.

Independent research

An independent directory, not a disposal facility.

LandfillPrices researches and organizes published information. It does not operate, own, or represent the facilities included in its directory.

No facility affiliation

A listing does not imply that a landfill, transfer station, county, city, or government agency endorses or participates in LandfillPrices.

No invented prices

Fees are published only when supported by an identifiable source. Missing or unpublished prices are not replaced with estimates.

No guaranteed quotes

Published charges and calculator results are research references. The facility determines the actual amount charged for a particular load.

Our information standards

Every published fee needs a source.

A facility record must have an official source and a checked date. When a schedule publishes multiple fee structures, the record preserves the relevant distinctions rather than reducing everything to one assumed price.

Facilities without a collected published fee schedule are not presented as verified priced listings.

Transparency

Understand what you are reading.

Published disposal rates can change. A checked date identifies when the source information was reviewed, not a guarantee that the rate remains current today.

Always review the facility's official schedule and confirm applicable charges before delivering a load.
